Tian’anmen square (30 minutes)
At the heart of modern Beijing is the huge empty space almost a kilometer long and half a kilometer wide known as Tiananmen Square, after the Tiananmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) on its north side leading into the Forbidden City.The square is able to accommodate half a million people at one time,it is the largest city central square in the world.
On and around the Square have the National Museum of China;Mao Zedong Memorial Hall; Great Hall of the People;Monument to the People’s Heroes.Also the Tian’anmen gate which have Mao’s painting on.

The Forbidden City (2.5 hours)
The Forbidden City was built between 1406 and 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. It had been the imperial home of 24 emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. From their throne in the Forbidden City, they governed the country by holding court sessions with their ministers, issuing imperial edicts and initiating military expeditions.
After the republican revolution in 1911, the youngest and last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, then still a child, abdicated the next year. But he, his family and their entire entourage were allowed to stay in the palaces. They were finally expelled by republican troops in 1924. It has been the Palace Museum to the public since 1950. The Forbidden City is one of the largest and best-preserved palace complexes in the world. There are over a million rare and valuable objects in the Museum.

With our hutong tour we will take you away from the touristy spots, to explore the real hutong.
Your tour will start from a visit to Shijia Hutong Museum.The Shijia Hutong Museum is the first museum themed on one specific Hutong.It is a community museum to document Shijia Hutong’s history and culture, and enhance the quality of local community life.The permanent exhibition covers general information about Hutong, the history and photo archives of Shijia Hutong, the celebrities that once lived here, and the everyday life of the local residents.
Walk along the hutongs in this area and visit a hutong family to see the real Beijing People’s living quarter,this hutong family is our own home,no other tourists come
